Clonsilla Utd 0 Shout FC 1

Another match and another victory. An unconvincing performance but an efficient performance. Germanic in its ways.
The men started off well and after 18 minutes we took the lead through our own Irish international Eamon Rimmer. It was a well taken goal and something that I would hope to see more of from Mr Rimmer. At 21 years of age he is a proven testament that the Shout FC youth system works!
I have aproached the board asking for them to change it from the youth system to the Shout FC youthkorp but this request has been vigourously denied.
You see I want Shout FC to develop into an army, Shout Park will be the homeland, the fatherland. Our opponents are our enemies, and should be treated as such.

Anyway i digress.
After we conceded the goal I felt that our lead was by no way protected, Clonsilla had chances to come level but thankfully Paul Hurley was equal to every one of them.
The game died as a contest when DMC Hammer got sent off for the home side for a second bookable offence and after that they had no real chances to speak of.

Dissappointments for us were that neither of our strikers were performing very well, with Mal Crowe particularly dissappointing. Also our only decent right sided midfielder has been ruled out for three games due to a nasty injury sustained during the match.

I am happy with the result, but not so happy that it wasn't by a few more goals.

Next up we have bottom of the table Chamillitary FC, a team who's form has been reminissent of the French Vichy government.... we of course hope for another three points.
Before that I have scheduled a friendly with the leaders of Australia's division 2.1, an old rival from my international pog playing days, I hope to once again get the better of him, as an old pog saying goes, those with all the pogs does all the cheering, and nothing truer can be said about the beautifull round balled game of Soccer.

Tune in next time as I hope to get the approval from the board to have some very special half time entertainment for the Chamillitary FC match.

Kindest Regards

Angry Mann
